Matt Anderson
My story starts with a wonderful Dad that use to take me to car shows growing up.
We would forever talk about having a project one day.
That day ended up being the purchase of a 1968 Chevy 1/2 ton that I had to build and get running if I wanted to drive when I was 16.
He taught me everything he knew about trucks as we worked together to get it up and running.
I taught myself bodywork and ended up with a pretty neat classic that would make any bodyman shutter after a good media blast!
That hooked me on fixing up classic trucks and I went on to rebuild about 10 of the 1967-72 Chevy truck and Blazers.
The one truck that my Dad and I would always look for at the shows was the Studebaker.
We loved the styling and rare appearance and it became a daydream to own one someday.
Well 20 years later I see a 1953 Studebaker c-cab pop up in the local classifieds and the rest is history.
I now own the 53 and a 54 3R6 which I hope to enjoy for the rest of my life!
